Charlotte, North Carolina-based Get Me Some Green Co-Founder Heather Wiskes announced the company is launching a nationwide franchise program.

Opened in November, 2017, Get Me Some Green was founded by Heather and Eric Wiskes. The retail space has the feel of a modern-day apothecary and promotes the health applications of CBD and hemp products as well as nutrition.

Press Release: Get me some GreenThe store offers an array of CBD and hemp products, including capsules, soft gels, drops, sprays, gummies, balms, oils, tinctures, bath and body products, topicals, edibles, drinks, smokables, hemp flower, and pet products, to name a few. The CBD products available are the highest quality, carefully researched by the Green Team. Their goal is to provide a CBD and wellness business that takes a more health-oriented approach and functions more as a clinic than a dispensary. The Wiskes strive to educate customers about the benefits of hemp and CBD products as well as other health modalities.

In addition to the a•pot•e•car•y, the franchisee offers Green Room remedies space that includes light therapy, weighted blankets, infrared sauna, PEMF therapies and Migun massage bed, (other options include ear coning, wellness scans and biofeedback sessions). These remedies utilize equipment, not personnel, so they create an on-going revenue source.

The franchisee also has the option of opening a Bud Bar. The Bud Bar is a comfortable lounge area for people to consume their CBD products, drink a cup of coffee, tea or CBD Kombucha, host an event such as a gourmet dinner featuring local products and chefs or live music, provide an education space, or allow a community group to use for a meeting or event. Rather than operate a restaurant in the Bud Bar, the franchisee will obtain beverage licensing, so customers can bring in beverages from elsewhere or order food from local venues and enjoy it in the Bud Bar.

Just as the principals of Get Me Some Green have not compromised in their in their business model, they will not skimp in their franchise program. The team is committed to providing all the specialized support and training necessary to make their franchisees successful. They plan to limit their franchise offering to fewer than 50 locations, to allow them to focus on helping the individual franchisees meet their goals, awarding only five at a time.

Get Me Some Green is actively recruiting highly motivated individuals to become part of the company’s franchise program. The Franchisor has developed a comprehensive system that encompasses every aspect of successfully starting and operating a Get Me Some Green franchise. The company is looking for franchisees with the requisite financial qualifications, willingness to work hard, desire to help the people in their communities, and a track record of success. The franchise can be launched for an initial investment as low as $100,000.

“Just as in our store we take the time to help people who are looking for an alternative to big pharma and opioids and those seeking a healthier lifestyle,” said Heather Wiskes, “when developing the Get Me Some Green franchise program, we focused on how to ensure the success of our franchisees, one at a time. We never want to get so big that we lose sight of making sure that our franchisees are equally important as our customers.” We want every franchisee to have a voice, we want to nurture every franchisee. The goal is to continue to add value for Get Me Some Green franchisees.”

Steve Raines, President of National Franchise Associates, one of the nation’s leading franchise consulting and development firms, helped create the Get Me Some Green franchise program. Said Raines, “This is a remarkable franchise program. It is on the cutting edge of an exciting industry, an industry that provides substantial benefits to people with health issues, people pursuing wellness or people desiring a more sustainable lifestyle. Heather and Eric have created a franchise program that truly helps their franchisees succeed with a level of training and support that is rarely seen in franchising.”
